No pictures, just Mabry news!

Mabry got her report card on Monday. Again, straight A's except for the N in penmanship. No surprises and we are proud of her! I hope that she will start earning S's in penmanship soon, but we aren't stressing about it since she's a lefty and very few teachers are prepared to teach writing to lefties.

Conversation in the car yesterday (note, you need to check out the theme song to "Handy Manny" to truly appreciate this:

Guy (singing): Loco Mabry (in tune)
Mabry (screaming): I am not loco!
Guy (persistent as always): Loco Mabry
Mabry (screaming louder if possible): I'm NOT loco!
Guy: Loco Mabry:
Mabry: I'M NOT LOCO!
Me: Mabry, what does loco mean?
Mabry: It's not nice! I am not (spelling) D-U-M!
Laughter from the adults present.


Now the question is, do we actually explain what loco means and why here spelling of dumb is funny?

I just realized that my parents have been trying to get my attention for the past ten minutes while I watched "Blue's Clues."

I have a very good attention span for Blue and Steve--not so much for Blue and Joe.

Mabry is so laid back, she oozes off the rocking chair.

I will cry and fuss until one of my parents comes to sit on the floor to play and watch Blues clues with me.

Below is a video of how I typically act during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Notice that most of my food is spread all over my clothes and the floor. This is not my favorite thing to do. I want to go play with the cat or blocks rather than eat.
